BSB Handbook Explained: Social media guidance

We have published guidance on our website for barristers with advice about using social media channels such as Twitter and LinkedIn.

The guidance highlights your duties under the BSB Handbook in respect of using social media both privately and professionally. The guidance is aimed at both registered and unregistered barristers

We hope that you will find our guidance helpful. We will refer to this guidance in the unlikely event that we need to investigate concerns about your social media use. If you are the subject of a complaint concerning your use of social media, we will investigate the matter carefully and in line with the process explained on our website.

You can follow the BSB on Twitter and on LinkedIn.
