Following an undertaking given by Mr Little on 14 December 2018, Mr Little is suspended from his practice as a barrister pending a hearing before a Disciplinary Tribunal. Mr Little is appealing the conviction that he received on 10 April 2018 and in the event that the conviction is set aside, the undertaking will cease 7 clear days after the BSB have been notified of the outcome in writing.
Date undertaking is effective from - 14 December 2018
On 26 October 2022 the Interim Suspension Panel made an order that Mr Jacobs be suspended from practice as a barrister and be prohibited from holding himself out as a barrister, pending the disposal by a Disciplinary Tribunal of any charges that prompted his referral to the Interim Suspension Panel, or as such Disciplinary Tribunal shall otherwise direct.
Date from which order is effective: 26 October 2022
Following a decision by an Interim Order Panel on 14 April 2023, Mr Henry Hendron is suspended from practice as a barrister and is prohibited from holding himself out as a barrister. The order will last until such a date as a Disciplinary Tribunal shall have disposed of any charges that prompted the referral to an Interim Panel or such as a Disciplinary Tribunal shall otherwise direct. The Panel further ordered that Mr Hendron shall not accept or carry out direct access instructions or conduct litigation or attend, as a barrister, any interview of any person who has been arrested or detained by the police or is in custody.
This order replaces the decision of the Chair of the Independent Decision Making body to impose an immediate suspension, under rE271 of the Interim Suspension and Disqualification Regulations, which was taken on 21 March 2023.
