Unregistered barristers

All unregistered or non-practising barristers remain members of the profession and remain subject to certain Core Duties and Conduct Rules within the BSB Handbook. Even when they are not providing legal services, Core Duties five and nine apply to them. Reading Regulatory Update is the easiest way to keep up with important news. Read more guidance for unregistered barristers.

Unregisterd barristers should register on https://www.mybar.org.uk to receive Regulatory Update as above.
