The Bar Tribunals and
Adjudication Service (BTAS) is the independent
organisation responsible for arranging all Disciplinary Tribunal
hearings and publishing the dates of these hearings.
You can view the forthcoming hearings calendar
on BTAS' website
Most hearings are held in Gray's Inn, First floor, 9
Grays Inn Square, London WC1R 5JF. Please click
here to view a location map.
Please note that hearings generally start at 10.30am, unless
otherwise stated on the BTAS website.
Disciplinary Tribunal hearings take place in public unless there
has been a specific order that a particular hearing be held in
private. Members of the public, press and the profession are
therefore welcome to attend hearings.
As space is limited, anyone wishing to attend is encouraged to
reserve a space by calling BTAS on 0203 432 7350
or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
All other enquiries from members of the press should be made to
the Bar Standards Board's Press Office on 0207 611
All hearings may be subject to cancellation or
postponement at short notice. We therefore recommend that
you contact BTAS the day before the hearing to confirm that the
hearing is to go ahead.
