Offence details:

Khalick Bhatoo on the 1st October 2001 was in possession of a weapon designed or adapted for the discharge of a noxious liquid, gas or other thing, namely a Force 70 Samourai CS gas canister, contrary to Section 5(1)(b) and schedule 6 of the Firearms Act 1968, in respect of which conduct he was convicted on the 4th December 2002 before the Kingston Magistrates' Court and fined '100. Khalick Bhatoo on the 5th April 2000 with a view to obtaining housing and council tax benefits did use a false instrument, namely a written tenancy agreement purporting to record a genuine transaction between Khalick Bhatoo and Dr. S contrary to Section 111A(b) of the Social Security Administration Act 1992, in respect of which conduct he was convicted on the 28th April, 2003 before the Kingston Magistrates' Court and ordered to serve a Community Punishment Order of 100 hours duration, and pay '1000 costs to the prosecution, and which was dishonest conduct and liable to bring the profession of barrister into disrepute. Khalick Bhatoo on the 21th August 2001 with a view to obtaining housing and council tax benefits made a false statement, namely that he was not at that time practising as a barrister at 2 Middle Temple Lane, London EC4Y contrary to Section 111A(a) of the Social Security Administration Act 1992, in respect of which conduct he was convicted on the 28th April, 2003 before the Kingston Magistrates' Court and ordered to serve a Community Punishment Order of 40 hours duration consecutive to the Community Punishment Order imposed in respect of the conduct referred to in Charge Two, and which was dishonest conduct and liable to bring the profession of barrister into disrepute.
