Shavon Bethel engaged in conduct that was dishonest or otherwise discreditable to a barrister in that in his application for Admission to the Inner Temple dated 20 March 2006 he asserted that he had been awarded a degree from the University of London on 5 July 2005 which was not true in that he had never been awarded a degree by the University of London on that or any date.

Shavon Bethel engaged in conduct that was dishonest or otherwise discreditable to a barrister in that in his Declaration to be made by a student before call to the Bar to the Masters of the Bench of Honourable Society of the Inner Temple dated 7 April 2013, he declared and undertook that the Declaration he made for the purposes of obtaining admission to the Inn was true in every respect when he made it, when it was not.
