23 Jul 2020

Most students have now booked their exam slots for the August centralised assessments on the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) and the Bar Transfer Test (BTT). Bookings for the assessments in Professional Ethics and Criminal and Civil Litigation close on 29 July, so anyone still wishing to book exam slots should do so as soon as possible as follows:

  • Students with agreed adjustments who have not done so already should email Pearson VUE at [email protected] with their preferences for dates and location so that, where necessary, bookings can be made.
  • Students who do not have agreed adjustments should book their exams online at:  https://home.pearsonvue.com/bsb There are plenty of available slots for online proctored exams - and this is how the vast majority of students will be sitting their exams - but availability in test centres for students without adjustments is becoming limited in certain areas. Available centres change regularly, so students who have been unable to find a local test centre may wish to search again on the Pearson VUE website. If there is still no test centre availability in your area, try searching for availability in areas to which you would be prepared to travel.

If they have not already done so, anyone not intending to sit one or more of their exams in August should please notify their BPTC or BTT provider as soon as possible. Information about the arrangements for deferring exam sittings is available in the Candidate Guide.

If anyone has booked an exam slot that they no longer intend to use, please cancel it on the Pearson VUE website.

We wish you well in your exams next month.
