View recordMohammed Latif, a barrister, failed to take reasonable steps to manage his practice, to ensure his practice is administered properly and efficiently, or to carry out his role within his practice, competently and in such a way as to achieve compliance with his legal and regulatory obligations, in that, despite repeated requests made to him by the Bar Standards Board, between November 2021 and November 2022, to provide transparency information of the kind required to meet his regulatory obligations under rC159 of the BSB Handbook [that is, where the barrister has no website, to provide transparency information in another form (“known as a transparency factsheet”)], Mr Latif failed to provide the requested information by December 2022, (or by the date of service of this charge sheet on 30 November 2023).
Mohammed Latif, a barrister, failed to be open and to co-operative with his regulator and promptly provide all such information to the Bar Standards Board as it may, for the purpose of its regulatory functions, from time to time require of him, in that, despite repeated requests made to him by the Bar Standards Board, between November 2021 and November 2022, to provide transparency information of the kind required to meet his regulatory obligations under rC159 of the BSB Handbook [that is, if the barrister has no website, to provide transparency information in another form (“known as a transparency factsheet”)], Mr Latif failed to provide the requested information by December 2022, (or by the date of service of this charge sheet on 30 November 2023).
