Offence details:

Daren Timson-Hunt behaved in a way which was likely to diminish the trust and confidence which the public places in him or in the profession, contrary to Core Duty 5, in that, on 1 July 2019 he operated equipment (a mobile phone) beneath the clothing of another person with the intention of enabling him or a third person to observe the genitals or buttocks of the other person in circumstances where they would not otherwise be visible, for the purposes of obtaining sexual gratification. Daren Timson-Hunt was convicted for this conduct at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on 26 September 2019, he was sentenced to a Community Order, was ordered to pay a surcharge of £90 to fund victim services and to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

Suspended – Practising certificate not to be renewed for 6 months (Sanction came into effect on 23 November 2020) As a condition to the sanction, Mr Timson-Hunt must have fully complied with his Community Order before he applies for a practising certificate (Compliance complete).
