That between 1 May 2014 and 13 August 2018, you, David Farley, being a self-employed barrister and BSB regulated person, failed to take reasonable steps to manage your practice competently and in such a way as to achieve compliance with your legal and regulatory obligations in that you carried on a reserved legal activity by exercising a right of audience (in the Crown Court, Magistrates Courts and in the Court of Appeal) when you were not entitled to do so by reason of the fact that you did not have a practising certificate and were not authorised by the Bar Standards Board to carry on any reserved legal activity and were not otherwise authorised to do so pursuant to the Legal Services Act 2007 (as amended).

That between 1 May 2014 and 13 August 2018, you, David Farley, being a self-employed barrister and BSB regulated person, failed to take reasonable steps to manage your practice competently and in such a way as to achieve compliance with your legal and regulatory obligations in that you practised as a barrister when you were not entitled to do so by reason of the fact that you did not have a practising certificate.

That between 1 May 2014 and 13 August 2018, you, David Farley, being a self-employed barrister and BSB regulated person, behaved in a way which was likely to diminish the trust and confidence which the public placed in you or in the profession in that you carried on a reserved legal activity by exercising a right of audience in the Crown Court, in the Magistrates Courts and in the Court of Appeal and practised as a barrister when you were not entitled to do so by reason of the fact that you did not have a practising certificate and were not authorised by the Bar Standards Board to carry on any reserved legal activity, and were not otherwise authorised to do so pursuant to the Legal Services Act 2007 (as amended).
