Offence details:

On 11 December 2015, the Legal Ombudsman (LeO) directed that Oliver White, a barrister should reimburse fees of ?3 000 (plus VAT) to his former client (B) by 05 January 2016 (subsequently extended to 14 January 2016). Oliver White failed to reimburse any or all of those fees. By so doing:Oliver White behaved in a way which is likely to diminish the trust and confidence which the public places in him and/or in the legal profession (CD5)

Oliver White, a registered barrister, failed to be open and cooperative, and promptly or at all provide the Bar Standards Board with information, which it requested from him for the purpose of its regulatory functions, in that he failed to respond in relation to a complaint against him by 27th April 2016 (subsequently extended to 14th July 2016) (CD9 and rC64).
