Offence details:

Mahnoor Choudhury, failed to act with honesty and integrity contrary to rC8 of the Bar Standards Board Handbook, and behaved in a way which was likely to diminish the trust and confidence which the public placed in her or in the profession, contrary to Core Duty 5 of the Bar Standards Board Handbook, in that on a number of occasions on and before 7 June 2016, she stole a total of around £400 from the petty cash belonging to her employer and from the bags of her work colleagues.

Having been dismissed summarily from her employment as a paralegal with Howells Jones Solicitors on 22 June 2016, the grounds for dismissal being that Mahnoor Choudhury acted dishonestly by stealing money from her employer and her colleagues, and Mahnoor Choudhury being aware of those grounds, she did not report promptly to the Bar Standards Board this serious misconduct on her part.
