Offence details:

Stephen Hourigan, a barrister, failed to comply in due time with a sentence imposed by a Disciplinary Tribunal on 30 September 2013 that he pay a fine of £1,000, which order came into effect on 12 November 2013, in that he failed to pay the said sum by 12 November 2013 or at any time between 12 November 2013 and 5 January 2014, contrary to paragraph 905(f) of the Code of Conduct

Stephen Hourigan, a barrister, failed to comply in due time with a sentence imposed by a Disciplinary Tribunal on 30 September 2013 that he pay a fine of £1,000, which order came into effect on 12 November 2013, in that having not paid the said sum by 12 November 2013 or at any time between 12 November 2013 and 5 January 2014, he failed to pay the said sum between 6 January 2014 and 14 April 2014, or at all, such failure being serious by virtue of previous failures by Mr Hourigan to comply with orders of the Disciplinary Tribunal made on 8 January 2010 and 23 June 2010

Stephen Hourigan, a barrister, failed to provide promptly all such information to the Bar Standards Board when required to do so, in that he failed to respond to letters sent to him by the Bar Standards Board dated 23 April 2014 and 20 May 2014, such failures being serious by virtue of previous failures by Mr Hourigan to comply with the corresponding provision of the Code of Conduct (8th Edition), namely paragraph 905(d), which failures were found proved at Disciplinary Tribunal hearings on 8 January 2010, 23 June 2010 and 30 September 2013.
