Amendments to the Code of Conduct

The Eighth Edition of the Code of Conduct was adopted by the Bar Council on 18 September 2004 and came into force on 31st October 2004.  The Code of Conduct provides the requirements for practice as a barrister and the rules and standards of conduct applicable to barristers.

Amendments and additions to this Code may be made by resolution of the Bar Standards Board. The latest version of the Code of Conduct is published on this website, however, you can view amendments to the Code from 2006-2013.
