If you are a teacher of the law of England and Wales you can apply for relaxation of the usual requirements for Call to the Bar and entry into practice.

When applying for admission to the Bar you will need to provide us with:

• References from at least one senior legal academic, such as a Head of Department or Vice Chancellor, and from at least one senior member of the Bar and/or judiciary,

• Any other evidence which you wish to supply in support of your application (e.g. references)

• Current application fee of £440 (cheque made payable to "The General Council of the Bar")
