Academic Stage - General Application Guidelines
General guidance notes for all Academic Stage application forms.
Form A - Credit Transfer
For students who have transferred law degree credit from one QLD provider to another.
Form B - Certificate of Full/Partial Exemption (QLD Provider)
For students who wish to obtain exemptions from the CPE/GDL on the basis of a law degree awarded by a recognised QLD provider.
Form C - Exercise of Discretion
For students wishing to undertake the BPTC who have obtained a UK/Republic of Ireland degree (in law or another subject) below the minimum requirement of lower second class honours (2:2).
Form D - Certificate of Academic Standing (Overseas/Non-Standard UK/Republic of Ireland)
For students with either non-standard UK/Republic of Ireland and/or Overseas qualifications wishing to complete the Academic Stage of training for the Bar by undertaking either the CPE or GDL course.
Form E - Reactivation of Stale Qualifications
For students wishing to commence the BPTC in September 2012 who obtained a QLD or CPE/GDL before 31 December 2006.
Form F - Exceeded/Reduced QLD Study Time
For students who have either exceeded or reduced the prescribed study period for their QLD course.
Form G - BTR 25 (a) Waiver
For students who will receive the final results of their QLD or CPE/GDL course afer the enrolment date of their BPTC.
Form H - Certificate of Full/Partial Exemption (Non-QLD Provider)
For students who wish to obtain exemptions from the CPE/GDL on the basis of a law degree which was not awarded by a recognised QLD provider.
Form I - Attempts Exceeded (Foundation subject(s))
For students who have exceeded the permitted number of attempts at a foundation subject(s) on their QLD course.
Form J - Condonation of Marginal Failure in a Foundation subject(s)
For students with a condoned marginal failure in a foundation subject(s) on their QLD course.
Form K - Acceptance of Deemed Pass(es) / Aegrotat Degree
For students with a deemed pass(es) in either a QLD or non-law degree, or those who have been awarded an Aegrotat degree.
