Jean Etienne Attala has been ordered to be disbarred by an independent disciplinary tribunal today, following the BSB finding that he acted dishonestly and did not report serious misconduct to his regulator.

The Bar Standards Board (BSB) has today announced that Naomi Ellenbogen QC has been appointed its new Vice-Chair with effect from 1 January 2016. Naomi will take over from Patricia Robertson QC who stood down from her role at the independent regulator of barristers at the end of 2015.
