Register for a QASA drop in session in Birmingham with the Bar Standards Board

The Bar Standards Board is currently preparing for the launch of the Quality
Assurance Scheme for Advocates
(QASA).

We will be hosting two evening QASA drop in sessions prior to the start of the
registration phase of the relevant circuit areas.

These will consist of a drop in session with a registration system demonstration from
Bar Standards Board staff. The QASA drop in sessions have been accredited with 1 CPD hour.

The sessions will be run at the the following location:

  • Novotel Birmingham, 70 Broad street Birmingham, B1 2HT

The event will run between 6:00pm and 9:00pm on Monday 23 September. The first 30 minutes will be an open walk in session where delegates can have a demonstration of the IT system. This will be followed by a 30 minute Q&A session. There is no need to book to attend the first hour. Between 7 and 9.00 delegates can book appointments to see one of two QASA advisors. You can book a free ticket via Eventbrite (please register via email rather than Facebook when you visit the Eventbrite page):

If you can't make the session you can always call the QASA helpline 020 7611 1479. The helpline is open 9.30am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday and will be open on Thursdays from 5 - 7pm at a later date.

They will be open to all Criminal barristers.

Please let us know if you would like to attend this session; register via Eventbrite:

We hope that delegates will find the drop in session useful. If you have any questions about the Roadshows please email bsbcontactus@BarStandardsBoard.org.uk.
