If you are a solicitor admitted and enrolled in England & Wales or Northern Ireland you can apply for a relaxation of the usual requirements for Call to the Bar and entry into practice.

When applying to transfer to the Bar you will need to provide us with:

• Original Certificate of Good Standing issued by the Law Society of England and Wales or the Law Society of Northern Ireland,

• Original Certificate of Higher Court Rights (where appropriate)

• Any other evidence which you wish to supply in support of your application (e.g. references)

• Current application fee of £440 (cheque made payable to "The General Council of the Bar")
