CPD guidance for barristers taking parental leave

The Bar Standards Board has produced a new Continuing Professional Development (CPD) guide to assist barristers who are taking, or are planning to take, a period of parental leave.

The guide explains the Code of Conduct requirements and encourages barristers on parental leave to stay up to date with their CPD. It also has data about the retention of women in the profession and has useful information about the range of online, low cost and audio-visual flexible CPD courses available.

The guide is available to download from the BSB website.
