BSB response to Home Affairs Select Committee's report

A BSB spokesperson said: "The BSB welcomes yesterday's Home Affairs Select Committee report: Child sexual exploitation and the response to localised grooming.

"It is difficult but crucial to balance properly testing evidence while protecting vulnerable witnesses. Barristers are key to achieving that balance and we welcome measures to support them in that. We will consider the conclusions of the report carefully and look forward to working with the Judicial College and the Ministry of Justice to ensure the relevant recommendations are implemented."
