Forthcoming Disciplinary Hearings

Bar Standards Board disciplinary hearings take place in public unless there has been a specific order that a particular hearing be held in private. Members of the public, press and the profession are welcome to attend hearings. As space is limited, anyone wishing to attend is encouraged to reserve a space by calling the Hearings Team on 020 7611 1444. All enquiries from members of the press should be made to the Bar Standards Board's Press Office, Weber Shandwick, on 020 7067 0123.

The tables below set out details of forthcoming hearings. Clicking on the name of the barrister will provide further information about the barrister and a summary of the charges.

Details of individual hearings will be removed from the website as soon as possible, but no later than seven days, after the conclusion of the hearing. If a disciplinary panel has found the charge(s) proved, details will be posted within seven days following the hearing in the section Published Disciplinary Findings. However, if a disciplinary panel dismisses the charge(s), no information will be available to the public unless the barrister requests this information to be published on this website.
