Our disciplinary hearings take place in public unless there has been a specific order that a particular hearing be held in private. Members of the public, press and the profession are welcome to attend hearings.
As space is limited, anyone wishing to attend is encouraged to reserve a space by calling the Investigations and Hearings Team on 020 7611 1444. All enquiries from members of the press should be made to the Bar Standards Board's Press Office on 0207 611 1452 .
All hearings are subject to cancellation or postponement at short notice. Therefore, you are should contact our Investigations and Hearings Team or the Council of Inns of Court the day before the hearing to confirm that the hearing is going ahead.
