We believe that all members of the public and barristers have the right to be heard, understood and respected in their dealings with the Bar Standards Board. We also consider that the Bar Standards Board staff have the same rights, and should not suffer any disadvantage from members of the public or barristers who act in an unreasonable manner. We, therefore, retain the right, where we consider behaviour to be unacceptable, to restrict or change access to our services.
