CPD Review
The Bar Standards Board has established a working group to review Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for the Bar during 2010. The year long review commenced in January 2010 and is the third major review of Education in as many years.
The CPD Review Working Group is being chaired by Derek Wood QC and includes both barrister (employed and self-employed) and lay membership. The CPD Review Working Group expects to report to the December 2010 meeting of the Bar Standards Board. There will be extensive face to face consultation with the Inns of Courts, COIC, Specialist Bar Associations, Circuits, Barristers Chambers, various Bar Committees and CPD Providers.
